Updating asrock bios without floppy
To complicate things, I don't have any other memory or processors to try, and I can't update the BIOS because I can't get it to post. I would love a way to flash the BIOS without needing the installer...maybe a jumper I could set, and restart holding some button down with the firmware on a flash drive. PS(I know the ram is not on the list of compatible memory, but somehow I doubt Toms Hardware would recommend buying that ram for this build if they couldn't get their motherboard to recognize it) Thanks in advance!! Contact ASRock tech support and see if they would be nice enough to send you an updated BIOS.
I contacted ASRock and they were quick to respond and let me know that they would send an updated BIOS to me. I actually have a second updated BIOS chip because I emailed ASRock and told them that it hadn't arrived yet, so they sent it again... So if you want one, I let me know and I can send it you you.

Just repeat the process, and if the problem still persists, update the original BIOS file.
If the Flash Memory Writer utility was not able to successfully update a complete BIOS file, your system may not be able to boot up.
The Flash Memory Writer utility can not be suitable for all ASRock motherboards.
